As a serial entrepreneur Rick has founded or invested in over 26 healthcare start-ups and named as 2002 Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Mentor of the year. Rick also was a partner in the nation’s largest physician search firm, a director of physician relations at a major hospital management firm and co-founder of Texas’s largest practice management firm. He currently owns Appraisal & Mentor Group LLC, which is a top 3 M & A and healthcare valuation firm with over 2500+ completed assignments including over 200 court valuations. Katherine O’Neill is the Executive Director for JumpStart New Jersey Angel Network, a member led angel investor group that invests in early stage high growth technology companies in Mid-Atlantic region. Ted Rogers

Ted Rogers has worked more than ten years in the finance and investment industry, including as a Vice President for Corporate Finance at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, a Manager in the Business Affairs group of America Online, and a Managing Director at Davidson Capital Group. Mr. Rogers has worked with and for technology companies at every stage of lifecycle, from founding to acquisitions and initial public offerings. Since assuming the role of PPI Ventures (PPIV) Managing Partner, Ted Rogers has become a “mentor capitalist” to several exciting companies including a music social network and a breakthrough ad-serving firm. With PPIV’s guidance, these fledgling companies are finding the resources and know-how to turn their unique new ideas into lucrative business ventures. Mr. Rogers graduated from Williams College in 1991 and cum laude from Georgetown University Law School in 1996. He was a three-time college football All-America and spent two years as a reserve linebacker for the Washington Redskins, including during their Super Bowl Championship season of 1991-1992.
