NCET2’s mission is to discover, develop, and fund corporate-aligned startups from universities and angel groups through its Corporate-Startup Development Program specifically aligning startups to corporate business units.

SUBMISSION AND SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Submit your startup by sending a non-confidential pitch deck to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject "Startup Development"
  2. Startups will be screened by our SDOs in a Virtual Showcase for scoring and feedback
  3. Startups will be reviewed by our Corporate Selection Committee
  4. Startups that receive corporate and SDO interest will go through a final interview to be admitted to the Corporate-Startup Development Program

* Startups applying for the Partner Showcases will also be considered for investments from the National Angels

ABOUT THE CORPORATE-STARTUP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

1. DISCOVERY:  NCET2 DISCOVERS startups for Fortune 500 corporate members

  • We reach out to universities and angel groups to find startups through Corporate Needs Solicitations that align to NCET2 corporate members' business needs and technology interest areas. We also make use of our Startup Development Officers (SDOs) to discover startups in various technical areas
  • We package all startups in technology interest areas for review and assessment in virtual showcases

2. DEVELOPMENT:  We DEVELOP startups with Fortune 500 corporate interest through NCET2 Startup Development Officers (SDOs)

  • SDOs work with you to develop startups with milestones you specify to guide the startup development process and achieve significant market impact for you. SDOs are former Fortune 500 open innovation and venture executives, active angel investors, and serial entrepreneurs with extensive knowledge and experience in startup development
  • Corporates receive monthly or quarterly development reports of startups that the SDOs are developing

3. FUNDING:  We FUND corporate-aligned startups through the National Angels Group and our Investment Banker Fund

  • National Angels and NCET2's Investment Banker Fund were specifically created to invest in the startups that we develop through the Corporate-Startup Development Program. Investments range from $150,000 to $2 million
