XPEED Turbine Technology LLC is a startup engineering service company dedicated to provide cost effective technologies to make wind turbines more efficient, to make wind energy more competitive (less usage of non-renewable energies) and to improve wind farms profitability. XTT was created to license a novel patented device that increases wind power efficiency for any existing or new wind turbine. It also address wind farm owners issues related to limited land space, high capital costs for installing turbines and long-term delays in returns on investments (ROIs). XTT provides wind turbine manufacturers and wind farms with the latest advancement in rotor aerodynamics. XTT wants to leverage the research done in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Rutgers University to the wind turbine industry.
