Join us as we partner with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and bring together industry leaders, researchers, chemical venture start-ups, venture capitalists, and angel investors at the 2019 Chemical Ventures Conference (2019 CVC), April 23 – 24, in Wilmington, DE.

NCET2 is organizing a startup showcase at the event. We are looking for eight (8) startups with new and innovative technologies that use chemistry to solve problems in materials, clean technology, biotechnology, agriculture, energy, electronics, and other sectors. Qualifying startups will be invited to pitch to corporate venture groups and investors in the chemical space.

Startups applying to the partner showcases will also be considered for investments from the National Angels. The National Angels was specifically created by NCET2 to invest in the Best University Startups. The National Angels invests in companies in the following technical areas: Pharma/Med, Chemicals & Clean Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, and Information & Communication Technology. Investments range from $150,000 to $2 million.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR STARTUP

  • Send your non-confidential pitch deck to submissions@ncet2.org and put "Chemical Ventures Conference" in the subject
  • Final deadline for submissions is on March 1, 2019

BadgeUniversity Startups are invited to apply to present for any of our partner showcases. University Startups looking for their first investment or later rounds can apply. NCET2's “Best University Startups powered by NCET2” banner. 

Startups applying to the partner showcases will also be considered for investments from the National Angels. HOW TO SUBMIT: Send your non-confidential pitch deck to submissions@ncet2.org. Submissions reviewed weekly. 

All startups submitted will be screened by NCET2's Startup Development Officers (SDOs) consisting of serial entrepreneurs, angel investors and ex-corporate executives (http://ncet2.org/sdo). Startups that pass the initial screening will be invited to present in a live, online Virtual Showcase in front of NCET2 SDOs. After the presentation the startup will be provided with extensive feedback. Startups passing the Virtual Showcase will be invited to present at any of our partner events.
